That thread just says that it currently doesn't work with v4, it doesn't mention any intentions to make it compatible with v4.

Can any of the developers confirm concretely if it will be made to be compatible with v4? This would be helpful for both us as simmers and for LD in terms of sales, as if it's never going to happen I'll go to PMDG and blow £100 on their 777; but I don't want to do that if it turns out LD is quietly being adapted for v4!

Cheers
Jon

We do not announce plans, but v4 is a likely bet.

Duly noted.

Well, three things...

1. I would be curious if Level-D is still developing software.

2. If so, will there be a v4 capable sim? (Yes, I read the reply about not posting plans, but I haven't purchased your product yet and won't until I know if it will support the sim platform I have migrated to)

3. Are there any plans for a 757? If not, can you confirm there are no plans so that a different sim developer who is currently creating models can do it?

There's no benefit to the community for a publisher "sitting on" a model that prevents it from potentially being commercially viable if created by a second publisher.

Thanks!

P.S. I may have a bet saying that LDS WILL create an updated v4 fleet, so I am hoping you do it... aside from having to buy someone a competing product, I can't stand it when he is right and I am wrong.
