Looks sensational! Those guages look a lot sharper and clearer now than ever before. I wont ask when it will be ready because I know that it will be done when its done! (But if you could stop them sleeping and make them work 24/7 it will be appreciated). Well done developers! |

if u look at the background scenery, dosent it remind you of some 1998-2000 graphical advances, compared to what we have today, i think FSX is a real let down

Sure, we'll get right on that for you... What you are seeing in the LONG link you posted is not what the pilots see... that ORANGE HUE is what a camera sees. |

sarcasm!!! god meanie pants! lol anyway i meant the inside of like the glass thingy, and if you look at the overhead panel the buttons are lighted orange right or is that what the camera is seeing? Like the PMDG 747 has; the yellow where the numbers are in the nav or other radios, do you know what i mean? LEVEL D just has the black background... thats for day? http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1147883&size=M One last question; how are the FPS looking in FSX with LEVEL D (i asked this b4) |

With a AMD 3600+ 1 gig RAM I am seeing reasonable framerates. This hue and cry over framerates happens with every version of FS... |

well I just got a brand new system: motherboard: Intel Q965 Vpro And as I remember last I played the Demo with all sliders as much to the right as possible I had about 15FPS when I flew over places with alot of traffic or trees and that stuff but 27FPS on the ground (looked awesome!) but after what I found out FSX also looks awesome at medium high! Where I almost had 27FPS all the time. I don't have the full version off FSX yet but I'm sure I would get it |

can you give us a little more detail on your system and whats the average FPS your getting (video card, processer...) and what do you mean by reasonable framerates? Btw the 767 is in Beta testing right now right, meaning it has been built and everything and right now your just testing for bugs and stuff right? Sorry if I have too many questions! |

Giving average numbers is totally subjective and will differ from system to system, so it really doesn't tell you much to say that I am getting anywhere from 15 to 25 fps while running the 767 for FSX. I did give you my computer specs above. I am also running an nvidia 6800 GS (256mb) video card. I can say what MS has said: start FSX with the sliders FULLY to the LEFT and slowly start increasing your settings until you are happy with the results. Placing sliders fully to the right and reducing is not recommended. AI trafiic is a huge hit on framerates, as are detailed clouds and autgen scenery. Yes, we are testing. |

Fantastic, sharp and clear shots Daryl. The Level-D 767 for Flight Simulator X might put some weight on that side of the balance, but Flight Simulator 9 is still to heavy

Microsoft sucks huh? Why don't you start coding software that get's used world wide? It's easier to call company names but it's tough to develop software

hehe good idea Daryl Anyway FSX is nice with Medium low/high settings! I'm diffently not beeing pushed away from FSX! This is taken from an article: Now MS changed the game. Flight Simulator needed to get on the same level as other games. It needed to be visually more attractive,

Well, funny you should ask... when I posted those screens it looked like that was the way we were going. BUT... In the final release version of the SP1, MS ACES added backward FS9 lighting compatibility for FSX... so, in an effort to get the 767 for FSX airborne, not sure what the status of lighting capability for the 767 for FSX is at this time. More when the 767 for FSX is released. |
