I see the 767 is still in production and I was wondering how different the current cockpit suites of today are from our beloved LVLD. Could any one out there with current real world experience tell us? Are they coming off the line all glass or still part steam gauges?
Thanks, Vic G.

All depends, I believe it is an option. However, UPS's aircraft which are rather new are the traditional steam/efis, whereas Fedex's aircraft are the new all glass cockpit. I still prefer the original 757/767 layout as it just looks more natural and is unique.

My airline has both the EFIS flight deck as well as the flat panel cockpit. The flat panels are nice but it's fun to fly the original cockpit for nostalgia sake. Definitely an adjustment though and it takes a few minutes to get your scan back.
