VNAV Issues during cruise

   Good day all, new forum member here. 
I've just started to fly with the Level-D 767 (Fsx:Se) and it's been great but one small issue. During climbout and several phases of flight after activating the VNAV, the aircraft would severely fluctuate up and down, sometimes even using the autopilot VS switch as well, making it impossible to climb to an altitude, and the VNAV would disengage from severe rocking later on during cruise, I've only experienced the latter twice however I was present to rectify the second occurrence of this issue by stabilizing with hand flying.

Does anybody have any suggestions to fix this? I'd hate to abandon this aircraft as it's very easy going on FPS and very thoroughly built.
