2D panel freezing when switched

   So I've gone back down memory lane and reinstalled the 767 into FS9. When switching views e.g. 2d cockpit, virtual cockpit, tower, spot & back to 2d in the standard FS rotation, FS freezes on the 2d panel and will not continue switching or responding normally. Right clicking on the screen does not bring up the usual menu to select other options and the only way to clear the panel freeze is to use the view menu.
I'm using Win10 64bit and don't remember having this problem previously with Win7 a few years ago now.
